Alexander S. Rusli, 54 years old, is an Indonesian citizen and resides in Jakarta. In addition to his role at the Company, Alexander S. Rusli also holds several prominent positions in various companies and institutions. He serves as an Independent Commissioner at PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (Hermina Hospital Group) and PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk from 2018, PT Link Net Tbk from 2020, and PT Cisarua Mountain Dairy Tbk from 2021. Additionally, he has been serving as an Expert Staff Member for the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia on the National Taxation System since 2019 and as an Advisor to Crescent Point Indonesia since 2019. Early in his career, he worked as a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (1997–2001), an Expert Staff Member for the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (2001–2007), and an Expert Staff Member for the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (2007–2009). During the same period, he held governance roles in state-owned enterprises, including serving as a Commissioner at PT Krakatau Steel Tbk, President Commissioner at PT Geodipa Energi, and Commissioner at PT Kertas Kraft Aceh (all between 2007–2009).

Alexander S. Rusli’s extensive career spans both the corporate and governmental sectors. He previously served as the CEO of PT Indosat Tbk (2012–2017), an Independent Commissioner at PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (Protelindo) (2018–2019), the Chairman of iFlix Indonesia (2018–2020), and a Commissioner at PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (2019–2022).

He has a strong educational background in information systems and business. He earned a Bachelor of Business (BBus) in Information Systems in 1992 from Curtin University of Technology (now Curtin University), Perth, Australia. He then continued his studies at the same university and major, obtaining his degrees of Bachelor of Commerce (BCom (Hons)) in 1993 and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2000.
